The Small Creatures Series are paintings using templates inspired by images, symbols, and patterns that appear to be long lasting, almost timeless in many cultures. In the French curve, the Boteh motif in oriental carpets, the paisley in Scotland, in Mayan stone carvings, and wheel structures from India, one sees similar motifs that permeate culture and the artwork across time.
